and spend some quality time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament in
St. Matthew Church. Prayer and meditation before our Lord in the
Blessed Sacrament are great ways to
spend some special time with
Jesus. You can ask Him for graces for yourself or for
loved ones, reflect on His Word, or just keep Him company silently!
Offer your precious time to Him - come for Adoration. Will you spend
an hour with Jesus? Will you come?

has quickly come and gone and with the welcome of a new year
close at hand CWL National is promoting the theme “Catholic and Living
it!”. Throughout the year your CWL executive has
continued to hold monthly organizational meetings in order
to stay connected with initiatives locally, within our
diocesan, provincially and nationally. We circulate the
minutes to our members so you are current with decisions and
upcoming workshops, meetings and educational opportunities.
We thank you CWL members and parish community for your
support during Covid in helping us meet our annual Charity
commitments. Your ongoing membership and voice helps us to
encourage change and influence decisions. Please stand with
us to make a difference that aligns with the teachings of
Memberships for 2022 are now being taken.

it, and the $30 inside – place in the collection basket and
clearly mark it for CWL membership. 2. Drop off your $30 at
the church office cheque or cash with your name on the

for auto deposit into the CWL bank account. Please include
your name in the message. ● If you are not a member but
would wish to join, please use one of the above methods of
payment but we will require your name, address, phone
number, and email address and we will be in contact with you
within the week. ● If you are transferring from another CWL
Council we will require your Membership number to transfer
you and retain your years of service.
Please note our CWL has been awarded an adopt
a seminarian, Isaac Nibourg whom we share with St. Stephen’s
CWL in Olds. In December we will be placing a box for anyone
to place a Christmas wish or gift to show our love, support
& ongoing prayers.

urgent need (for example, to help someone in the hospital),
